Dr. Erin Madigan-Fleck: Aromatherapy in Practice – Targeting Sensitive Skin

Essential oils, the life force of the plant kingdom and for the holistic practitioner, offer an abundant source of therapeutic applications which may be employed in the management of rosacea and sensitive skin subtypes, as well as substantiating viable support for general well-being.

Live Demonstration

Essential oils and companion products such as hydrosols, herbal tinctures, floral waters, and refined mineral clays all offer the practitioner a unique platform for providing highly customized and targeted therapeutics for compromised skin. The complexities of the sensitive skin types present the opportunity to integrate botanical components that may have a substantial impact in the reduction of the traditional hallmarks of sensitive skin and sensitive skin syndrome. This module is positioned to heighten both the understanding and appreciation of essential oils, and is designed to inspire the practitioner from a vantage point of becoming more familiar with the clinical view of essential oils and how to utilize them in innovative ways to assist in the management of sensitive and compromised skin.
